The “9th BME eLÖSUNGSTAGE” in Düsseldorf ended in the middle of March with a record attendance of 1,300 participants. In addition to Onventis, more than 70 e-procurement exhibitors presented a compact market overview during the two-day congress. Onventis as a German cloud pioneer presented itself and its e-procurment solution for strategic and operative procurement right from the beginning of the BME-eLÖSUNGSTAGE. For Onventis, the BME ELÖSUNGSTAGE are an excellent platform for entering into direct dialogue with purchasing decision-makers.

The e-procurement experts of onventis presented their solution for futuristic and networked purchasing on their completely new designed stand 49. Moreover, desicion-maker of purchasing got a few first insights and results of the current trend survey on digital networked procurement. The survey was created in collaboration with Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences and the Federal Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics. The visitors were very keen on the Onventis Cloud Procurement Network, which illustrates that networking is a topical theme in purchasing.

Furthermore, Onventis presented a preview of their newest release: on 15th April the 10th version, which is called “Onventis Xperience Release”, of the popular e-procurement solution will be published. Tradecore becomes “Onventis”. “With the brand “Onventis” both, company and product name, will merge”, Zoran Steko, Director Network & Marketing of Onventis GmbH explained.

Johannes Wiedmann, Head of Product Management, and Heiko Rumpl, Director Consulting, Services & IT, of Onventis GmbH discussed best-practice-scenarios for a successful networking of the supply chain in the fully booked workshop “The platform-era is finding its way into purchasing: ways to a digital networked supply chain”. Together with the participants they worked out use cases and advantages of digital networked cooperations. “Everybody agreed that companies will network their horizontal and vertical value-added chains. The applications have to be defined today to apply them tomorrow”, Heiko Rumpl sums it up.
According to BME, the workshop of Onventis was one of the best valued workshops of this years eLÖSUNGSTAGEN.
