Onventis again awarded with the BMEnet seal of approval

Stuttgart, 17 June 2020 – BMEnet GmbH awards the “Supplier Relationship Management” seal of approval to the all-in-one procurement network for medium-sized companies for the third time in a row. The coveted certification certifies the high quality of the Onventis e-procurement solutions. According to BME, the solution convinces with its high integration capability and innovative functionalities for strategic and operative procurement in the areas of supplier management, source-to-contract, procure-to-pay, analytics and mobile procurement. With the acquisition of WorkFlowWise in 2020, the Onventis product portfolio was also extended by billing and expense management solutions.
Overall, the cloud provider was convincing in all test criteria. The comprehensive procurement app “Onventis Mobile”, which was updated in 2019 in terms of design and function and which covers the entire mobile procurement process, also received the seal of approval again in the “Mobile Procurement” category.

Award for business software and platforms
Since its foundation in 1954, the Federal Association for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (BME) has established itself as a trade association for buyers and logistics experts in Germany. With more than 9,600 members, it is Europe’s leading non-profit trade association for procurement, logistics and supply chain. The BME awards quality seals in various categories for business software and platforms that offer integrative solutions for the optimization of procurement and logistics processes. “In order to be awarded with the BME seal of approval, procurement solutions must fulfil the requirements defined in demanding criteria catalogues”, explains Andreas Richter, inspection representative at BMEnet GmbH. “IT solution providers such as Onventis can prove the quality of their products in this way to procurement decision-makers and users, tested by a neutral expert institution.
